DIPPLE & CONWAY SUPPORTS NORFOLK SCREEN

We’re proud to announce that Dipple & Conway is sponsoring an important organisation called Norfolk Screen. This young, not-for-profit company promotes our fine county as a go-to filming destination for people working in the global film industry: its aim is to help make things easier for film productions to take place right here in Norfolk.

We’re lucky because we already enjoy the fact that Norfolk is within easy reach of London and a gateway to some of the best locations in the UK. Norfolk Screen spreads the word about this in the world of film, bringing a raft of economic and creative benefits to the local area.

Craig Higgins from Norfolk Screen explains why this sponsorship is so important:

“Norfolk Screen operates as a not-for-profit service and we are incredibly grateful to Dipple & Conway for acting as a regional sponsor, as it allows us to help cover costs such as running the website which provides all this important intel from location: studio space, crew, facilities and services.”

“Since launching the Norfolk Screen website just over a year ago we have received over 65,000 views from 12,000 users - which is brilliant! Plus, our website has been able to support local employment through hosting a directory of crew and services, allowing us to signpost and work with numerous productions including ‘Spencer’ and the upcoming ‘Good Luck to You Leo Grande’.”

“As a not-for-profit company we would be lost without the support of regional sponsors, and we would like to say a huge thank you to Dipple and Conway for supporting local organisations such as ours. Having an iconic Norfolk brand who is well respected and loved helps cement our development and growth and we truly are grateful for their support.”

Norfolk Screen’s objectives over the coming year are to continue to promote the region as a film friendly destination by ensuring it provides a free local directory of cast, crew, services, facilities and locations through its Norfolk Screen website.

Craig continues: “Those who live in the region are aware of how incredible Norfolk is and to help encourage more production in the region provides huge benefits for the local economy. Further to this, we host a number of educational webinars with those in the screen industry and it is vital that we can continue to provide these talks for free or at a low cost. Opportunities to learn are vital! We are also hoping (pending COVID) that we will at last be able to host some local networking sessions for filmmakers in the near future.”

Norfolk Screen is incredibly passionate about trying to support and increase more production filming in our county. We’re pleased to add our support and celebrate this partnership.
