  This is a pair of Cazal frames from around 1987. The extravagant design and detailing are typical of the Cazal brand (founded in 1975). Bursting into prominence in the 1980's under the moniker of "Cazzie Fever", Cazal styles were made famous in the 80s by bands such as Run D.M.C, and actors such as Al Pacino and Brad Pitt. Other celebrities who have become lovers of the brand. include Michael Jackson, , Stevie Wonder, and Sammy Davis Junior. The brand has recently enjoyed a revival with its relaunch of 14 vintage styles from 1975 – 1985.
