The show took place at Open in Norwich, and the aim was to showcase a number of different hair salons in Norwich, highlighting the work they do across several different genres. This included colour, style, mens contemporary styling and even bridal.
Salons included the Hairsmiths, Posh Salon, Hoskins Hair, Code Hair, Barry Alan and Kinki Boutique.
We were fascinated to be backstage and watch the amount of hard work and dedication from each salon as they prepped their models. There were many different looks ranging from edgy short blunt fringes, to romantic bridal waves and plaits, to ecentric Marie Antoinette style backcombing and beehives, complete with ribbon.
Make up artists from the Norwich School of Beauty had been working since the early morning with the salons to compliment their looks.
Each salon was also styled with local fashion from players including Proudlock and Harry, Walkers, the Big C (bridal) and Fiona Burridge (Nor-folk)
The models appeared to a live DJ set by Tropico, accessorised with a variety of frames from Dipple & Conway.
The show finished with the ultimate finale – a surprise performance by Rosebud who closed the evening on a high.
We were delighted with the amount of positive press the show received and well done to Deb Dominic and all the Norwich Fashion Week for their hard work. For a full write up and backstage pictures visit the Norwich Fashion week website here
