The team here at Dipple & Conway have some exciting news to share: we have been nominated for the Optical Assistant Team of the Year category at the Optician Awards! We could not be more delighted by this achievement, and can’t wait to celebrate with other industry professionals at the ceremony in November.
Let us tell you more about these awards and why we’ve been nominated.
To be held in a prestigious ceremony in London on November 22nd 2024, the Optician Awards celebrates excellence in the optical industry. Its categories overall recognise the optical profession and the innovation and dedication protracted by individuals and teams in clinical care, technology, fashion and services.
Judged by experts, the awards honour products, practices and professionals who stand out from the crowd and excel at delivering exceptional care to their clients. As nominees for the Optical Assistant Team of the Year category, we are overjoyed to see that our incredible teams have been recognised for all their incredible work.
We have been nominated for the Optical Assistant Team award, which recognises the staff that face the public. This can be a challenging role, which is why this award is here to celebrate these amazing team members. In this category the judges are looking for a reception team that works as a unit, supporting each other and the practice’s visitors.
A team that maintains a warm atmosphere is on the award criteria, one that makes each and every customer who walks through the door feel special and cared for. The judges are also looking at teams that integrate and develop new staff, teams that understand the importance of happy, respected workers.
We at Dipple & Conway are proud to say that our reception teams are second to none. Our optical assistants are kind, passionate and welcoming people, always ready to go the extra mile for our wonderful clients. They perform their roles perfectly, and we have the customer comments about our lovely team to prove it.
We work hard to ensure our practice culture is one of positivity and understanding, where staff feel they can thrive whilst being well looked after. As a group, we are always looking for ways to improve and grow, for our practice environments, each other and our clients.
Here’s what our director Matthew had to say about our exciting Optician Award nomination:
“It feels great to have our hardworking team recognised at a National level like this. It’s a real testament to everything we stand for, delivering great service and high quality clinical care”.
